The biggest name in video games is coming to the PlayStation Vita.
That much was confirmed at Sony's E3 press conference, but more was revealed at Gamescom. In development at Nihilistic Software, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is a series installment that has been "authentically translated to handheld." As producer Neven Dravinski said (as quoted at the PlayStation Blog ):
"One of Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified’s compelling features is the fact that you can take the established gameplay everyone knows and loves and bring it to the PS Vita."
Therefore, die-hard fans can expect the standard stuff, like Create-a-Class, Perks, Prestige levels, and all working around those invaluable dual analog sticks. The game's single-player campaign includes covert missions that bridge the story gap between Black Ops and the incoming Black Ops II , and the multiplayer action will support up to 8 players on Wi-Fi.
Added Dravinski:
"We’ll have a variety of game modes and maps, including some that are custom made for PS Vita and others that leverage fan favorites from the Black Ops series, but tailor made for PS Vita."
