Upcoming Gun-Fu Game SPINE Drops New Gameplay Trailer

During the Galaxies Gaming Showcase, a new gaming showcase that dropped its first-ever show, which streamed exclusively on Twitch. The showcase was packed with plenty of gaming announcements and content, one in particular saw developer and publisher Nekki reveal a new trailer for their upcoming gun-fu game, SPINE.

The latest trailer takes a small leap into the game’s exciting action-shooter combat in which the protagonist, Redline, dodges and dispatches enemies in style. The gameplay focuses on fast, fluid combat that allows players to use the environment, spray cans and plenty of guns in their quest.

Although Redline won’t have an inventory, she will be able to repurpose her enemies’ weaponry for attacking, blocking and parrying her way to success. Spine will allow Redline to pull off some spectacular combos and finishers too, whilst players make their way through this single-player Gun-Fu-inspired adventure.

The trailer also teased a look at SPINE’s hardcore mode, a take on the no-hit run that will don Redline with a pair of stylish shades, which will only stay on if she remains unharmed during the run. At the moment, there is no release date for Redline, but the game is available to be added to gamers’ wishlists on the PlayStation Store.
