Jason DittonIn indie game news, D-CELL Games has released a PS5 demo for their new rhythm adventure game, UNBEATABLE. This particular demo comes out of yesterday’s Galaxies Gaming Showcase, and it continues to look as promising as it did when it was originally announced last year, but now off of the PC! The main character of the game, Beat, is a musician in a world where music is illegal, and… well, can’t let a little something like that stop ya from bringing music to the masses, right?
UNBEATABLE is largely a Muse Dash-style two button rhythm title. One is up, the other is down, and you can, and do, quite a few things with that. It sounds like it’d be a pretty limited set up, yeah? You’d be surprised by what you can do with just a few buttons, especially in the hands of the right creative team. The adventure part of the title is the story, characters, which there isn’t much exact detail just yet, besides the whole music thing and Beat evidentially knowing people that the police have slightly better reasons to be mad at other than playing music.
UNBEATABLE has no full release date as of this writing, outside of being intended to release sometime in 2025. Final title will release on Steam, PS5, PS4 and the Xbox Series X and S. But, you can play its demo now.
