Stylish Texas Hold ‘Em Game Made By Octopath Traveler Devs Releases Soon

In unexpected news, All In Abyss: Judge the Fake, a new stylish Texas Hold ‘Em battler by Acquire, of Octopath Traveler, Way of the Samurai and Tenchu fame, and WSS Playground, creators of Needy Streamer Overload, is releasing in a little under a month from now.

It would appear to be a more story-based affair than Balatro, as “genius gambler” Asuha Senahara looks to regain everything that she lost to a syndicate of poker-playing ‘Witches’ in the game’s Gambling District. All In Abyss does not appear to be using traditional Texas Hold ‘Em rules, where less mundane forms of luck manipulation and other forms of cheating appears to be the play. We very much doubt such things have happened in proper Texas Hold ‘Em, but the Red Light Districts are known to be where the magic happens, or so we’re told.

All In Abyss: Judge the Fake releases April 10, 2025, on Steam, the Nintendo Switch, and the PS5. A limited time demo can presently be found on Steam.
