Those numbers dwindled more on PlayStation 4, becoming even less on PlayStation 5. However, the current generation has recently seen some nice controllers, with Helldivers 2 and Astro Bot receiving themed DualSense controllers in the past year.
With HBO’s Season 2 of The Last of Us gearing up for release in April, Sony has revealed a new wireless DualSense controller inspired by The Last of Us series, created in collaboration with Naughty Dog’s creative team. The controller is due for release on April 10, with gamers able to pre-order from March 14 via PlayStation’s Direct store.
The controller is a mix of black and white adorned with glossy trophy icons printed along the black, each calling back to significant characters, moments and events in the series. The controller is priced at $84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99, with the price and currency depending on your region.
