Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerSony might be looking at more consistent major PlayStation exclusive releases. This comes after they note that they’re expecting a financial dip after not releasing any major exclusives this quarter.
During their financial presentation (via PSLS), Sony asserts major releases will be a yearly thing starting next year with Ghost of Yotei.
“We are making steady progress in the development of new titles and in improving our live service game processes, Starting with Ghost of Yotei, which is a sequel to the smash hit Ghost of Tsushima, we plan to continue releasing major single-player game titles every year from next fiscal year onwards.”
What’s more important here is the fact they signal more single player games over multiplayer fare, something that we’re sure is good news to many fans.
