UPDATE (8/19/19): Erica has been released. It will cost you $9.99. You can view the trailer below.
Now, they’re back with another list of games that are presumably going to appear at Gamescom 2019 later this week. Found within the list are obvious ones such as Borderlands 3, Watch Dogs Legion, and Cyberpunk 2077. Though, alongside those were games like Streets of Rage 4 and, interestingly, Erica.
Erica was announced back in 2017 without a release date. It’s meant to make players feel like they were playing within a cinematic movie. To do this, they made it a live-action interactive game.
A year passed, and we heard little about the game’s progress. But, if this rumor is true, fans will be happy to see what improvements will be displayed. It’s also very possible this might be when they plan to announce its release date.
Back in June, its Australian rating was leaked, leading fans to believe they’re far ahead in development. On top of that, Erica’s trophies are now live.
Gamescom 2019 is starting August 20 through the 24. There are also some interesting pre-shows on the 19th from Google and Nintendo.
