Wal-Mart To Receive Huge PS4 Shipment For This Weekend

If you sadly didn't manage to snag a PlayStation 4 over the past few weeks, you may soon get your chance.

Wal-Mart has announced that it will receive its largest PS4 shipment to date, and those systems are a-comin' this weekend. Consoles will be available at multiple stores across the US at 8 a.m. on Sunday, December 15. You can also buy them online while supplies last, so don't waste time!

Currently, both the PS4 and Xbox One are sold out at the retailer in question, but Sony and Microsoft have sworn to keep retailers as well stocked as humanly possible over the course of the month. If you happen to run on down to Wal-Mart this weekend, you can also take advantage of a Christmas Countdown savings Event that starts on Friday, December 13 at 8 a.m. Lots of big-name games will be on sale, including great titles such as the PS3/360 versions of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag , Grand Theft Auto V and Battlefield 4 for only $40.

Don't have the PS4 just yet? Waiting for games you definitely want to play? Okay, but can you really resist if you saw it sitting on the shelf…?

Wouldn't support Walmart's slave wages practices, but if people need an Xbone there's plenty at Amazon and Best Buy. PS4 is worth waiting to get at a reputable store.

poor under skilled people who stand idling around are complaining about not getting enough pay. so true, their hard earned work should far exceed the minimum wage =p

EDIT: solution. increase Food Stamp allotments to them. it now comes on an easy to use and non-disgraceful EBT card =p

If it makes sense to you that people can work a 40 hour week and not be able to eat, or that the American people should subsidize Walmart's corporate profits by paying for their worker's food through taxes then by all means.

There's no problem with wanting more pay. You just have to be motivated enough to get it.

Okay I know everyone has a thing about how Walmart handles things that are Electronic. I pre-ordered my PS4 a few months before it was suppose to come out on its Launch day in the USA. Even had it put on Layaway. I was pleased to actually give Walmart Kudos. My PS4 worked from the moment I had it hooked up. I had to pay it off on Dec 6th. Still some what a Launch PS4. I'm happy to say no worries this far. Also if people are so upset about the whole Slave wages. There are still places worse than Walmart…hmmm Mcdonald's comes to mind.

I've played every single game I could have wanted to aside from Portal 2 and Beyond. I had over 96 PS3 games at one point and since I've gotten my PS4 I can't look back. I'm thoroughly enjoying the 4 games I got and soon to be 5 with Need 4 Speed. Those will keep me plenty entertained until infamous and Drive Club.

bigrailer is right. However, I wouldn't say "can't go back".

I'm enjoying my Ps3 for years to come. TLOU DLC, I'm waiting.

I'm not getting rid of my PS3 anytime soon. I have a trove of adored games on the platform. Games I'm not gonna let go of, probably through out my entire life. PS4 is just a baby sapling right now awaiting it's own greatness. Which will likely come in due time.

Go to amazon and add an xbox one to your cart…

now go to amazon and TRY to add a ps4 to your cart…

Then come back here and let use know how it went…and which one you think is in higher demand.

hence why we'll likely see the XO outpacing the PS4 for a while. MS appears to be shipping more boxes.
I'm beginning to wonder if Sony has a production choking point on a specific component, slowing the throughput of units. This happened to MS during the 360's launch.
