If you're into video games, you know the name Goichi Suda.
Also known as "Suda51," the iconic developer has delivered several highly stylized action games in the past, including Killer7 , No More Heroes , and one of our favorite titles from 2011, Shadows of the Damned .
Back in 2014, Suda announced a brawler called Let it Die , a new title that would be exclusive to PlayStation 4. It sort of disappeared after that, which was a little worrisome, but now Suda's team at Grasshopper Manufacture has given us an update , and he says the game is on track for a 2016 release. Added executive producer Kazuki Morishita:
"Let it Die remains a crazy survival action game. The world we are creating will push the envelope for asynchronous, free-to-play. The trademark Grasshopper visual and narrative flair remains a signature for the title."
The promising title will be playable at PAX East in Boston, an event that will take place between April 22 and April 24. In Let it Die , players will be able to steal a defeated foe's weapons and equipment and customize their own character. It looks pretty bad-ass; check it out:
