Naughty Dog Says Uncharted 4’s Intro Will Blow You Away

As if we needed more reasons to be excited.

By now, you know the hugely anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has gone gold , which means May 10 is written in stone.

And of course, we're hearing nothing but good things about Naughty Dog's latest effort. The team is also quite proud of their achievement, recently saying that one of their crazy impressive trailers was the best they've ever done (and we're inclined to agree). Now, communications boss Arne Meyer claims the introductory sequence in Uncharted 4 is awesome, and might even surpass that memorable and emotional intro in The Last Of Us .

This according to a PlayStation Espana interview (as cited in the NeoGAF forums ):

"In my personal opinion, this is our strongest beginning, opening sequence for games since the Last of Us, which was obviously very emotional. But I think this is probably one of the best opening sequences as well. That feeling of wanting to keep playing and wanting to know where it goes continues the entire game."

Hey, you don't have to convince us. We expect nothing less, right? And speaking of TLoU, there's reason to believe that you'll see some definite TLoU influence in Nathan Drake's last journey.
