As if we needed more reasons to be excited.
By now, you know the hugely anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has gone gold , which means May 10 is written in stone.
And of course, we're hearing nothing but good things about Naughty Dog's latest effort. The team is also quite proud of their achievement, recently saying that one of their crazy impressive trailers was the best they've ever done (and we're inclined to agree). Now, communications boss Arne Meyer claims the introductory sequence in Uncharted 4 is awesome, and might even surpass that memorable and emotional intro in The Last Of Us .
This according to a PlayStation Espana interview (as cited in the NeoGAF forums ):
"In my personal opinion, this is our strongest beginning, opening sequence for games since the Last of Us, which was obviously very emotional. But I think this is probably one of the best opening sequences as well. That feeling of wanting to keep playing and wanting to know where it goes continues the entire game."
Hey, you don't have to convince us. We expect nothing less, right? And speaking of TLoU, there's reason to believe that you'll see some definite TLoU influence in Nathan Drake's last journey.
Related Game(s): Uncharted 4
In anticipation to this game, I played the remastered versions of Uncharted 1-3 on PS4 and I platinum-ed them. Can't wait for Uncharted 4, only a few more weeks to go.
Well if it beats Uncharted 2's intro it's an immediate winner. Based on all things Uncharted 2 has one of the best intros in gaming. Definitely better than TLoU. I'm not going to pick on it because it was good but we all knew what was coming.
i remember me and my brother looking at each like like wth is this for real. our minds were blown.
I remember two things that made me feel the same. The first being I couldn't believe I was playing that scene and that it wasn't a cut scene. And two being so wrapped up in the suspense of every second of it. When it ended there was a sigh of relief.

MGSV did the same and after the intro the game become lifeless, hope this isn't the case too.
Uncharted 2 and TLOU are good examples of how this game should turn out.
True they are already proven talent.
couldn't agree with you more about MGS. THAT INTRO – was amazing…
Cant wait
Playing through the ps4 collection atm, its gotten me so hyped. Especialy since I hadnt played the first one from 9 odd years.

Love it story wise it really make you love the characters, i'll be gutted if anyone dies in this one xD
I believe it will be a great intro but can devs stop tooting their own horn before they launch a game?
What dev would say, yeah our intro is mediocre, you might like it.
I think this game is going to rock but I hate the PR before a game launches.
There are some who have already played the game and are already making excuses for it sucking. There you go. I think the Uncharted series is more overhyped than a Disney product. HA!
Share links, if it gonna be as bad like MGSV was I want to start lowering my hype to don't feel much disappointment, but even if you are not lying I'm still going to buy it because at least in the videos the gameplay looks top notch.
As long it doesn't turn into a Call of duty game.
