Dark Souls III just launched on March 24 in Japan (it'll be out in the West on April 12), but one Japanese player has already beaten From Software's challenging action/RPG.
Well, let's be specific: This player not only beat the game, he beat it in a ridiculous 1 hour and 42 minutes, which is the world record others will have to try to beat. You can examine the speed-run below but of course, the video contains all sorts of spoilers so if you want to go into DSIII fresh, avoid watching. And believe it or not, this player beat his own world record time of 1 hour and 56 minutes, so he just keeps getting faster…and as he dies a few times in the latest run, the time could come down even more.

I'll never come close to doing what they do.
They don't love video games any more than you do. They have a love for defeating games as fast as they can. Some people like collecting all weapons and armors, getting all trophies and then you have people like the speed-runners.
They can also collect all weapons and armours, get all trophies faster than us.

i cant tell if that was sarcastic or not, but in case its not, he does it with a few glitches and not really actually playing the game other than the scenes that are necessary
