So, which version of Tom Clancy's The Division should you get?
Well, as per usual this generation, the answer is the PlayStation 4 version (unless you've got a high-end PC).
Digital Foundry has published their analysis of Ubisoft's hot new multiplayer tactical shooter and while the PS4 and Xbox One versions offer similar experiences, the situation is a little better on Sony's console. In terms of resolution, PS4 outputs in native 1080p throughout the game, while Xbox One needs a dynamic resolution to reach 1080p, and that drops a tad in some outdoor locations. However, the team did note that both versions "look extremely close during gameplay."
In regards to frame rate, both versions hold a fairly steady 30fps. That being said, they found that the Xbox One iteration can struggle with the game's rendering load, which can create stuttering in cut-scenes and when players move between indoor and outdoor environments. Here's Digital Foundry's final analysis:
"PS4 offers up a touch more refinement with a locked 1080p resolution and stable frame-rates across all scenes, however, the Xbox One version is practically identical where it counts, and the visual differences are small enough to pass by unseen. Performance issues appear to be limited to occasional scenes, and overall both consoles provide solid, smooth gameplay."
The Division has become Ubisoft's fastest-selling game ever , and despite reports of a few low-grade textures and complaints about the available missions at launch , it is easily one of the most popular new titles of the generation thus far.

the game is great, having fun with this one. i have been playing since launch day and been playing from 2pm to 3 am every day since i have not completed half of it , as for the 26 missions with the size of the city the loot and the dark zone with no loading time makes the game feel like a belly full each time you play , some times the game may feel a bit repetitive but still addictive. the weapon designs and gear and controls and even the camera angle is what i wanted other 3 rd person game to be like. the movement is nice very close pace movement to dead space and some other games when you have the weapon in the ready position. this is what resident evil world should be like the movement open city , coop game play .
with that said as this is the first from the feed back they get from this game i know they will make a lot of improvements and this could spark innervation for others to make 3rd games like this .
I'm interested in the 'dark zone'. Is that like, a zone full of mutant/alien creeps? I'm planning on buying this game, but I think I've had enough alien screams while playing Destiny.
