Anything that has been described as a "love letter to PSOne JRPGs" absolutely deserves our attention.
And if you're wondering how many people still want to play such "old-fashioned" games, check this out-
Disastercake's Soul Saga was already confirmed for PC, Mac and Linux. But the team started a Kickstarter campaign to also bring it to the PlayStation 4, Vita and Wii U. They had a goal of $80,000 for all three new platforms and guess what? Still with 16 days to go, it's already in excess of $85k with a total of 2,194 backers. Voice acting is now confirmed, and further stretch goals include airship exploration ("similar to Skies of Arcadia "), a job board, and legendary weapons. The top goal of $250,000 would let the game feature "double the content."
Of course, it has to have turn-based combat. Right? Right ?! You're not allowed to compare it to Suikoden , Breath of Fire and Persona if it doesn't.

bah, i think this pretty much looks like cheap crap. Their monster/creature art designer sort of sucks really.

hmm, and I thought JRPGs and their fans were dead…
If it's like Skies of Arcadia I'll definitely check it out. Could be the JRPG version of "Rainbow Moon".
umm rainbow moon was the jrpg rainbow moon
Nope, those were western designs front to back.
Do many games still come out for Linux?
If this is turned-based i'll at least check it out.
Who gave him/her Riven sword .
