Uh…so, if I interview a nonexistent virtual person, can't I just write the responses myself?
Anyway, when you're a big fashion company, you can apparently do anything, and that includes interviewing Lightning. The Final Fantasy XIII heroine has taken up modeling in her retirement and now, Louis Vuitton speaks to their new pixelated spokesperson.
In a recent Telegraph "interview," , Lightning talks about her goals as a fashion model. She says she aims to one day share the stage with models like Jennifer Connelly and Alicia Vikander, but she still "has a lot to learn." She also talks about shedding her tough-girl skin and changing her image to something more feminine, and she credits Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquiere with that transformation:
"His collection fills me with a sense of serenity and pride. Perhaps I'm finally learning who I truly am.
Fashion isn't something you're taught or given, it comes from your own taste and your own choices. It displays the essence of who you are to the people around you. It is a thrill that I, who has faced my share of danger, have never experienced before. LV is a new adventure–a new fantasy–that I will enjoy from the bottom of my heart. "
Previously, Square Enix came forward to support Lightning's decision, and believes this step will "breath new life into the character." Our response is that she could continue on this new career path because she'll end up with a better reputation.
I just have this feeling that she will get another game,I don't see SE just letting her die off.
This Lightning obsession is getting out of hand :/ They should just hurry and bring me FFIX on PS4 😀
I just hope that somebody takes Lightning to Mickey D's once a week to buy her a Quarter Pounder w/cheese & a super-sized fries.
That way, she won't turn out to be as stick-figure anorexic as those other poorly looking waifs trying to find a single bite of food-crumbs on the runway too.

On a side note, you hear about France's new law about healthy eating? It's great !
Underdog,
No I haven't, not yet anyways….
It's specifically about models. The fashion sector isn't allowed to have underweight models anymore, and if they do require ultra thin models, they can be fined incredible amounts of cash.

Ahhhh, they need to send that law over here, cause if one of our runway models stand on a street corner more than 20 seconds, somebody always comes along & tacks a placard on them.

I told you guys Nomura just get more crazy each year and yes I expect SE to waste money on another boring Lighting game.
Ugggh…. this is so distasteful. I thought what S-E did to Lightning in the sequels was bad, but this is just revolting. *sighs* You'll always be Clare to me.
I finished Lightning Returns and her being in our world makes perfect sense so there you go.
This is incredibly stupid.
Were the standards for real life models not high enough?
