Bandai Namco Confirms Western Release For Tales Of Berseria

JRPG fans will love this.

According to RPG Fan , Bandai Namco has confirmed that Tales of Berseria will release in North America, South America and Europe. It'll be available on PlayStation 4 and PC and feature English, Spanish, French, Russian and Italian subtitles.

Famitsu clued us into a bunch of new gameplay details too. Firstly, Berseria takes place in the same world as the one seen in the previous entry, Tales of Zestiria . The only difference is that while the latter game represents the future, Berseria is in the past. Secondly, you can expect a very similar combat system, where you map Artes to the face buttons and can chain combos together. It worked well enough in Zestiria , right?

The only downside to this news is that we don't have an estimated Western date. We know it'll launch in Japan some time next year so chances are, we'll have to wait until 2017. But the hardcore faithful will be patient, and we wonder if that niche crowd is starting to favor franchises like Tales as opposed to Final Fantasy .

That's alright if Tales of Berseria comes out on 2017. FFXV and Star Ocean 5 is enough to satisfy my rpg cravings for 2016… ^_^

Yesss finally back to 60fps glory.

Her ghost claw defiiiinitely gives me flashbacks to Asbel's Lambda claw.

Kinda wish they stuck with the artwork direction of Vesperia with these new Tales of games.

Will admit that 60fps is nice.
