Which amazing title will end up being the PSXE reader pick for Game of the Year?
Well, we've got it narrowed down to five: Over the past week, participants voted for their favorite title and the five games receiving the most votes have now moved on to the second and final round.
It's very close so far but the epic role-playing game from CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt , leads the way with the most votes tallied in Round 1. Not far behind was the other huge open-world RPG, Fallout 4 ; just a tick behind that is the acclaimed PlayStation 4 exclusive, Bloodborne , and then comes the latest masterpiece from Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain . If you're wondering, only one vote separated Bloodborne and MGSV! Batman: Arkham Knight just edged into the top 5, barely squeezing past one of my personal favorites, Assassin's Creed Syndicate .
Okay, time to pick the overall winner! It was extremely close during Round 1 so it's hardly a foregone conclusion that The Witcher 3 will win… The winner will be revealed when we post our upcoming Game of the Year Awards 2015; look for them next weekend. Vote now!

Witcher 3. More than lived up to the hype. I'm really enjoying Fallout4 but it's (at least to me) basically Fallout3 with slightly upgraded graphics and a few gameplay tweeks.
See, that's what I think…but the Fallout fans REALLY hate it when you say that. LOL
AC fans hate it too.
I don't mind that at *all*. In the case of Fallout "more of the same" is exactly what I crave.
I'm not mad at your opinion but it makes me wonder if you actually remember Fallout 3. A few tweaks is a massive understatement.
If the settlement feature is a minor tweak then i would love to know what a major overhaul would be to you. The shooting mechanics/physics in the game are night and day when you put them side by side. In 3 you could be standing at point blank range and still miss, whereas with 4 the weapons are far more reliable as long as your within the range of said weapon. Then you have the power armor which is very different from the frames to the modding. Junk being useful now is also something that i would consider more than a tweak.
The major difference to 3 vs 4 is the overall stability which for the first time has given me hope that Bethesda can now finally turn their great concepts into truly enjoyable experiences, rather then the games that you hate to love playing.
Again i'm not mad, i'm not trying to be a smart ass, or be sarcastic i just don't know how you can see 4 as being only a little bit different from 3.

People who don't vote for MGS5 are weird people. They should be strapped to magic balloons and transported to my brig.
As a 'Metal Gear' fanboy, I'm of course rooting for 'The Phantom Pain' to win everything it ever gets nominated for. But every one of these nominees is a legitimately great game, so I can at least take comfort in 'losing' to a great game.
Voting bloodborne an nothing else, they are all fantastic games but bloodborne is my personal favourite of 2015, the witcher 3 will win overall tho i guess.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt that is all.

My personal GotY is a showdown between Fallout and Bloodborne.
My "objectively" minded GotY goes to MGSV.
