Ben-DutkaIf you've been following along with video game news, you probably know all about the Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 fiasco.
As it turns out, the game will not be released in North America or Europe, much to the chagrin of franchise fans. The reason? Well, many are saying that it's not coming due to heightened sensitivity to sexism in gaming, particularly in regards to females. Okay, let's face it- exclusively in regards to females.
At any rate, through all the speculation, Koei Tecmo has released an official statement on the matter via Twitter and it doesn't explain much. The company merely distances itself from comments made by an employee on Facebook, and adds that they only want to deliver "the best fighting entertainment to our fans around the world, while consciously respecting and strategizing to support the different global audiences the Dead or Alive franchise lends itself to."
As of now, Xtreme 3 is only releasing in Japan and Asia for PlayStation 4 and Vita in February 2016. The game features a suntanning option and of course, various swimsuits for the women. And really, I have no comment as we're reaching a point where comments and opinions are about as heavily policed by the growing PC Gestapo as our smartphone activities.

You'll have to go back to Xbox1 for that, software hacking is much harder. The game is actually more fun collecting swimsuits than just nakedness though.
It's always more interesting to have some imagination at work 🙂

I had fun with the original DoAX on Xbox. The volleyball was silly unbalanced but it was still fun. We don't get volleyball games anymore, damnit.
The only good new I guess is if you do decide to import it will have English subtitles:
"Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will be releasing with subtitles in multiple languages (Chinese, English, Japanese) for the Asia region, without additional censorship. Voices will remain in Japanese. Multi-language options are available for the PS4 and PS Vita, as well as Collector’s Edition"
There was an awesome legit beach volleyball game for PS1. It featured current day Olympians, men and women. I had a multitap and took it on our volleyball trips in high school. Always a good time. (That and a weird dice game called "pigs".)
It was really underrated. I haven't seen a volleyball game play as well as that one did before or since. It's definitely the one most real to real life competitive volleyball ever made.
