We don't have enough video games that focus on the medieval era.
But here's one: Activision has announced that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare , the multiplayer-oriented action title, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 1. It will only be available as a digital download.
Developed by Torn Banner Studios, Chivalry boasts 25 maps and 24-player online multiplayer, along with support for dedicated servers and a brand new 6-player Horde-style mode. The game first released on PC in 2012 and then got ported to PS3 and Xbox 360; now, updated versions are on the way. But don't expect drop-dead gorgeous visuals…
The game will only cost $20 (with the option of a $30 Ultimate Edition that includes four DLC packs), so it might be worth it to take a peek. I keep hoping we'll see a medieval theme for Assassin's Creed ; maybe Ubisoft will oblige some day.

I still can't wait for For Honor but was always interested in Chivalry so might give it a go.
