Aqua Moto Racing Utopia Set For PS4

If you remember games like Wave Race 64 and Splashdown with fondness, you might be all over this game.

Indie developer Zordix AB has announced that their water racing title Aqua Moto Racing Utopia is coming to PlayStation 4. Previously, it was only confirmed for Wii U.

They've also released a new teaser trailer to go along with the confirmation, and we've got some gameplay info as well: Players will get the option of online and split-screen multiplayer, and they can enjoy single-player tournaments as well. The campaign will feature events for both the runabout and jet-ski vehicles and if you can pull off wacky tricks, you'll be rewarded with valuable speed boosts. You can also purchase new vehicles in the game's career mode.

We don't have a launch date just yet but we expect to see it in 2016. It really does remind me a lot of Splashdown although honestly, I think the water looked better in that PS2 game than it does here. Of course, that water was well ahead of its time.
