Previously, Capcom had given Street Fighter V a tentative March 2016 release window.
Now, however, we've got the finalized launch date and it's actually a little early: It was first reported by Eurogamer Portugal and then confirmed by series boss Yoshinori Ono during Sony's Paris Games Week presentation.
February 16, 2016 is the release date for North America and Capcom also plans to deliver six more DLC characters in the year following the launch. Furthermore, franchise mainstay Dhalsim will be featured in the main roster of fighters, which likely comes as good news to long-time fans. Several new faces have already been confirmed, including Rashid and Necalli ; all told, there will be four brand new fighters .
