Yeah, it's the PlayStation 4 exclusive I want most right now.
The reason is that inFamous has always been just silly fun, and I anticipate nothing less than spectacular next-gen entertainment when Sucker Punch delivers inFamous: Second Son next year.
I'm even more stoked now that we have nearly six minutes of gameplay! Up until now, we've only seen some trailers, including the great one shown off during Sony's E3 press conference. But here, we finally get a look at a style of gameplay we all know and love; it appears to be play exactly like the titles we all enjoyed on the PS3, but with the added benefit of new technology. For instance, there's a whole lot more in the way of destructible environmental elements, and the protagonist appears to have more potent, highly damaging abilities.
Man, can't wait to get my hands on this one.
Thanks, Zak!

This trailer was flamin hot.
For full effect, watch in 1080p and full screen. When you see the jump in texture detail of everything from fabric to concrete, random things like dynamic shadows from debris like leaves (see if you can spot something funny at 3:48), and effects such a smoke on fallen enemies, and explosions, the difference of next gen visuals becomes obvious and clear.
smokin
I'm wet.
female? if not you may have an issue there
There's a guy on TV that sells underwear shields for men.
Didn't say where I was wet at. 😀
Nice! This looks worthy of next-gen level. I love how more open and realistically laid out the cityscape is compared to PS3. It no longer has this cramped together feel due to memory constraints.
God I love inFamous. I hope there are more than just the fire powers though, maybe you could embrace different power cores and swap them in and out and level them up like an RPG.
Not happy about the character design but I guess I can live with it. Hopefully he will hook up with Zeke for a couple missions.
Edit: I'm gonna have so much fun with that flame whip, Castlevania style.

I have no doubt. Electricity is essential to Infamous at least. I suppose I'd be okay without ice. Ice is still cool though.
In the interview Sucker Punch did with IGN, they said that his abilities are actually "Smoke" abilities, or he can control smoke or something. But something that is WAY cooler, is the fact that this kid can actually absorb the powers of other conduits, and use them himself.
Now THAT is an awesome concept.
Not to dig at PSX, but you guys should really check out IGN, they have a whole bunch of exclusive interviews with the developers, and lots of tasty info!
EDIT: You no like bad ass rebellious teenagers? 😀

I do like badass rebellious teenagers (loved DmC) but I'm not crazy about Seattle hipsters.
I like rebellious teenagers. I don't like DmC hipsters.

Man I love this upcoming generation already.

This game looks hot as hell. And I don't even like the inFamous games that much… 😀
Seeing more and more on this game makes me just more and more excited! Right now, this game is the selling point for me for the PS4. I'm kinda feeling the need to go back and play the originals all over again now!
Yeah me too!
makes me wonder whats happening with all other next gen games, this and watchdogs are really the only two games that truly look next gen!
even drive club, knack, or even infamous just dont look even in the same league of shadow fall!
god dam it, made me even more excited for the new IP GGs working on………
I like it. Reminds me of DMC with some Ghost Rider thrown in.
How I wish this was a launch title! So excited for this game, it's unbelievable 😀
THAT was impressive.
