PlayStation 4 owners are probably used to large file sizes by now but even so, you might need to make some room for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection .
As PSU confirms, the anticipated compilation takes up over 44GB of hard drive space.
That even trumps massive games like Grand Theft Auto V (nearly 42GB) but at least it's a lot easier to install and re-install titles on PS4 when compared to PS3. And besides, if you've already picked up a bigger hard drive for your PS4, this probably isn't an issue for you.
This awesome collection, which features remastered versions of the first three entries in the award-winning Uncharted franchise, will be ready to go on October 8. Fans can expect new difficulty options and a Photo Mode; to see more, check out 11 amazing minutes of gameplay . If you don't yet have a PS4, perhaps you'll be enticed by this slick bundle featuring the Uncharted Collection .
Lastly, those who snag this compilation will also gain access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer beta, which kicks off on December 4.

That's 14gb dedicated for each game in the series. Seems reasonable.
Except UC:2 was 25 gigs and UC:3 was…bigger, I don't exactly know the size but definitely >25.
I just did simple math. 42/3 = 14. I wasn't trying to be precise for each game because it doesn't matter. The fact is there's 3 games on 1 disk all taking up 42gb of space combined. That's still on par with one game this generation.
Uncharted 3 on PS3 was over 45GB on its own due to the 3D and it had about 6 audio-packs.

Was not consdering buying that, but after EG article of how good the remaster is, I will have to reconsider. For the HDD space I'm with 500gb but I still have ~200gb left so no problem here.
Cant wait
Sheet, I don't have any space as it is. I have to remove a game just to play a game, whose Idea was it to have the whole game install without shortening the loading times?
The good news is, deleting and reinstalling is a breeze on th PS4. I just delete games I havnt played for a few months and if I want to play them a simple re-install is all that's necessary.
Just don't delete your save game data. 😉

The same person who had the idea of having 50 gigs of data on a spinning disc.
You gotta redownload em too boy
