"Lame" is the only word I can think of concerning Sony's Tokyo Game Show 2015 press conference.
I mean, it wasn't terrible and maybe we're all spoiled after that historic E3 presentation that included a trio of unbelievable news ( Final Fantasy VII Remake , Shenmue 3 and the return of The Last Guardian ). And those were hardly the only highlights.
But even so, when I think the best Sony news from TGS 2015 is the announcement of a new Hot Shots Golf for PlayStation 4, something is seriously amiss. Gravity Rush 2 and Yakuza 6 are cool, too, but we don't even know when these games are coming to North America. We needed some fireworks that we did not get at TGS and I'm guessing Sony is holding off until the PlayStation Experience in December.
Maybe that's when we'll see Gran Turismo 7 and a new God of War , or perhaps Quantic Dream will finally tell us exactly what the hell they're working on. Whatever it is, I'm hoping it'll be a darn sight more intriguing than TGS 2015.
Nioh
Bloodborne expansion
and Gravity Rush made my day
Was TGS ever as extravagant as E3? I don't ever remember it being as important.
TGS is usually bland so i thought this year was somewhat of an upbeat compared to years past, at least for me.
It would've been cool to see something Gran Turismo. I wouldn't be expecting any big GoW announcements at a TGS to begin with. The focus is always on Japanese devs and their up and coming games.

Yea it always seemed like a show geared towards the niche Japanese crowd. Some cool stuff out this year I think. Gravity Rush HD and 2 and MGO. Execellent!
I was expecting some info on XII HD and sadly there wasn't any 🙁
Of course they are saving the big guns for their show in December.
Nioh and Karins announcement for Street Fighter V were the highlights for me for what was otherwise a pretty dull showing.
No new SoulCalibur news, nothing on Resi Evil 7, no Tekken 7 updates? C'mon now…
Two Days ago was "Epic" and now is lame?
Did I miss something?

Perhaps epicly lame? Or maybe the trailers were epic, but "new announcements" were lame?
I think TGS blew the crap out of E3. Besides FFVII remake and Horizon Zero Dawn I found E3 pretty boring. Plus, I don't trust Square-Enix to deliver a remake worthy of it's fans expectations. It's clearly subjective and based on the games an individual enjoys of course, but TGS was Epic for me.
New PS4 Games Announced:
Ni-Oh
Toukiden 2
Gravity Rush HD
Gravity Rush 2
Hot Shots Golf
The King of Fighters XIV
13 Sentinels:Aegis Rim
Yakuza Kiwami
Yakuza 6
Setsuna of Sacrifice & Snow
Bloodborne:The Old Hunters content
World of Tanks PS4 version
Other Fantastic Stuff:
Yoru No Nai Kuni 2016 western release
Attack on Titan gameplay = EPIC
Star Ocean 5 gameplay = EPIC
Doesn't look like a lame show to me. Especially, if you're an JRPG fan or just a fan of Japanese games in general. I'm far more interested in these games then anything shown at E3.

Yes, KoF was another great announcement. Though that teaser trailer shows the game has a ways to go, particularly with animation quality.
Yakuza? Star Ocean? King of mother******* Fighters?
How about new IP like JÅ«san-ki heibÅeiken, Ni-Oh, Shingeki no Kyojin and Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna?
Just because most of the games announced doesn't interest you doesn't mean the show is lame.
What did you expect?
Fallout 4? Uncharted? Star Wars?
TGS is by Japanese for Japanese.
I'm not Japanese but I enjoy games like these so the show was great for me.

Of course it was lame to you,you only like Japanese games with budgets over $100 million. There were so many jrpgs and many others announced that my wallet will choke me to death ,Also almost all of them are slated for 2016 in the west. But hey at least you got Assassins creed 55 to look forward to this year and 56-70 next year.
TGS stroked me well. Really enjoy the huge Jap dev presence because I look forward to these games.
