Of course, the big question is going to be the same for both projects: Will they be released in North America and Europe?
Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing right now but at least the games are in the works:
During Sony's TGS 2015 presentation, Sega announced two new Yakuza projects for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The first is called Yakuza: Kiwami and it's basically a remake of the original PS2 title; it'll boast updated graphics and a brand new scenario and system. This will be available on January 21, 2016 in Japan for both PS3 and PS4. Again, here's hoping it'll eventually find its way west.
The second project is a full-fledged sequel: Yakuza 6 is in the works for PS4 and it currently has a tentative Fall 2016 Japanese date. Just be patient because bringing this series to the U.S. can take a while, as fans well know. Heck, we're just now getting Yakuza 5 , which launched in Japan back in 2012.

Original is always the best ,thank god i downloaded the remastered Yakuza 1 and 2 on PS3.
I'm not going to play Yakuza Kiwami
It would be a dream come true if they bundled all of the Yakuza's into a remaster style package with Yakuza 1 and 2 remastered, Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 and the zombie spinoff for good measure to Western countries. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
Not going to count on a North American release for either but both would be day one purchases for me. Such a shame this series never caught on like it deserved to over here.
