If you're a big fan of one of the very best titles to grace PlayStation Vita , you're gonna love this.
During Sony's TGS 2015 press conference, they confirmed Gravity Rush 2 (dubbed Gravity Daze 2 in Japan) and it's coming to PlayStation 4. Perhaps this is only more evidence that Vita is dead but whatever. We're getting a sequel, anyway.
Furthermore, if you don't have the Vita, you can catch up on the original game because Sony will re-release it for PS4 on December 10. Bluepoint Games, the studio that handled high-def PS4 ports for Flower , the God of War Collection and the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection , will take care of Gravity Rush for the console. This new version will also feature all three DLC packs: Spy Pack, The Maid Pack and The Military Pack.
As for the follow-up effort, all we know for now is that it'll come out some time next year. Can't wait to learn more! In the meantime, check out the debut video; we selected it as one of our top 5 TGS 2015 trailers .

Wait, did you say "more evidence that Vita is dead?" Did you watch the same conference I did? A ton of those games announced for PS4 are also coming to Vita.
Your taking this one thing and overlooking the fact that there were a kajillion games they announced also coming to Vita, with an exclusive mixed in there for good measure (I don't want to watch the conference again to count so I'm just rounding up).
Regardless, you got some 'splainin to do.

Sad to say but the Vita is really nothing more than a PSX/PSP emulator at this point. At least for me. Not even the remote play feature works that great. I try and play games over it but it doesn't even come close to being as enjoyable as the Wii U gamepad in terms of off TV play.
Woohoo! Day one for me.
One of the best game on the Vita now have a sequel for the PS4.
Yep, Vita is dead.
I'm really excited for Gravity Rush 2. The first isn't just my favourite Vita game, it's one of my favourite games period. It's one of the few Platinum trophies I have because I played it THAT much.
I'm bummed that it's not getting released for Vita though. I was only able to play the first title as much as I did because I could take it with me. I can't take my PS4 with me… 🙁
These are much better suited to console than Vita. I should check if the first one works on PSTV.

The first is still my favorite Vita game so I'll definitely be buying the remaster. Hopefully Gravity Rush 2 will get confirmed for a Western release in the near future as well.
