Free is always good, even if it's only temporary.
Developer Bungie will release a mandatory patch for Destiny next week (to help usher in the big expansion, The Taken King ) and as the team revealed in a weekly update , the DLC's PvP Crucible content will be free for one week.
The two game modes are Rift (kinda like Capture the Flag) and Mayhem (super abilities charge super fast), so you should have a blast. The patch in question arrives on September 8 – The Taken King drops a week later on September 15 – and delivers multiple additions and improvements. For instance, did you know that accomplished game voice actor Nolan North ( Uncharted ) is replacing actor Peter Dinklage?
Destiny will also get a huge new area to explore, the Dreadnaught , and players can look forward to a new level cap (40) as well. You ready for more multiplayer FPS fun?

I'm excited about this.
Haven't played Destiny thoroughly since Dec. 2014, (did played it from time to time but it was always short lived, and less and less as time went on) why because 2 reasons 1) lackluster game (even with the season pass) 2) WAY better games been coming out since then that has kept me busy.
