Resident Evil Origins Collection Confirmed For “Early 2016”

For fans of the groundbreaking franchise, this is probably a must-purchase.

Capcom has revealed the Resident Evil Origins Collection , which will launch early next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

This disc-based package will include the upcoming Resident Evil 0 HD along with that popular Resident Evil HD Remaster . The whole bundle will only cost you $20 and you should look for it around the end of January, as the only finalized launch date we have is for Europe: January 22.

As for that anticipated Resident Evil 0 upgrade, we'll get a new "Wesker Mode," which lets players assume the role of Albert Wesker and "experience the events leading up to the iconic mansion outbreak" along with S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers.

I'm all for these games being re-released in HD. It seems most of the new ideas from these big name developers pale in comparison to games from older generations. I'm not expecting much from the RE2 remake.

I read a review for mgs V on gamespot i think it was and there was a part where they were complaining on the character Quiet being too lusty or some kind of nonsense, like are you f@#$ing kidding me? LOL North America is becoming a bigger vag as a whole every year i swear pretty soon just having tits is going to be offensive

Okay I'm not a hardcore franchise fan but I do like these so someone has to explain to me what Resident Evil 0 is.

World, RE0 is a kind of prequel/parallel story kind of game.
You play half of the game as a prequel, and learn how Raccoon City got the Walking Dead makeup and the other half as a parallel branch of the RE1 story with Rebeca, which you meet in RE1.
I purchased the GameCube just to play these games, they are great.

^What he said. Also the item management is different and the use of two characters at the same time to solve puzzles is a lot of fun.

Billy is also one of those cool characters we never see again.

Story-wise, its meh. It has some good moments though, and annoying enemies. The final boss fight is one of my favorite in Resident Evil though. The new Wesker Mode alone makes this worth the purchase.
