The next Need for Speed is technically a reboot after the franchise missed its first year in over a decade in 2014.
So, what does the new effort have to offer? How's about a ton of customization options including a Grip vs Drift slider? And a new multiplayer score attack called 8-Player Rep Attack?
Don't forget that developer Ghost Games is comprised of veteran members of Criterion Games, which produced plenty of fantastic racing titles, including several Burnout gems. the new NFS goes well beyond the standard point-to-point races and the visuals are all kinds of slick. Playing solo, just driving around the wonderfully detailed city of Ventura Bay (a fictional version of Los Angeles), should be equally intoxicating.
Did you check out that great gameplay sample shown off at E3? If not, here it is, and don't forget that Need for Speed will be ready to race on November 3.

The camera makes my nauseous on turns. It's impossible for accurate turning with this much yaw. Hope there will be other to choose from.
They did confirm that camera was just a 'cinematic' type option used for the gameplay trailer but there are 6 others to choose from
Car customization looks great, but I sure hope there are some different camera angles. I am not a fan of third person views in racing games, and I definitely do not like what I saw in that video.
as much as i like the GT86 or whatever subaru calls theirs idk about this online crap its really getting anoiying despite how good the game might be.
happy gaming
