During Bethesda's first-ever E3 conference, the publisher officially confirmed Dishonored 2 . This was only hours after they may have accidentally leaked the new title .
The fresh effort is currently in development at Arkane Studios, the same team that delivered the absolutely stellar Dishonored . No release date has been set but we do know it's unsurprisingly in the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As for the story, which was such an essential aspect of the original, here's the plot synopsis for the sequel:
"Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the Lord Regent has been vanquished and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history. An otherworldly usurper has seized the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin, leaving the fate of the Isles hanging in the balance. As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca–a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire."

Looks great but I want real-time trailers these days and not pre-rendered cgi.
It was still cool seeing her fight General Grievous knock-offs.

looked like a scene from the game to me
the game will probably look close to that. but I think I read reports already stating it was pre-rendered.
…anyway, MS had a real strong show today. Hopefully Sony can match or exceed it.
If I hadn't a PC I'd probably breakdown and also get an XO =)

Dishonored was amazing. Looking forward to this a lot.
Dishonored was that good, I platinum'd it. Awesome a #2 is in the works.

A very promising first promo. Like World I too really liked that female hero. She was awesome.
Seems like Corvo personally trained her.
Though Emily looks a million times more badass than she was before, I still prefer Corvo, the silent badass.
