Okaaaaay, what is it?
It has the sci-fi vibe of Killzone but rumor has it that developer Guerrilla Games is working on an RPG of some kind.
Now, days before E3 is set to kick off, the team has shared this new image on their Facebook page . It appears to be a highly advanced seaside city, which might be the setting of the new game. Obviously, it doesn't really give us clues as to the nature of the gameplay, and we sorta already knew they were going sci-fi.
But it's still intriguing. We've heard the new IP might be called "Horizon," but there's nothing official just yet. Interestingly, Guerrilla does have a new Twitter account , so maybe we're nearing the unveiling time.
Big splash at Sony's E3 conference…?
I'm excited to see more at e3. Though I think we're on an RPG overload. I'm sure Mass Effect 4 is launching next year too, probably gonna have a big e3 presentation.
Edit: my problem with this is that if too many of these launch too close together it may be a bad thing. I don't want to be choosing between uncharted, fallout and mass effect or this etc.
And I won't be surprised if the next God of war turns out to be some kind of RPG as well

And I think GoW Ascenion's multiplayer only encourages it. The game fleshed out a build your own character system, complete with equipping weapons and armor and skills. It probably wouldn't be hard for them to translate that stat building element into some kind of mythological RPG game.
That looks like the city in Killzone Shadow Fall. Could it be a Killzone RPG?
That's kind of what I've been thinking for awhile. Push the KZ series in another direction.
Yeah it looks exactly like Vekta City. I'd be really ok with a Killzone RPG!
is it sci fi? Those look like smokestacks, statues being pulled along…
Exactly my first thought.
Definitely keeping my fingers crossed for a great RPG from Guerrilla. More a fan of the fantasy setting, but I enjoy some sci-fi games if they have an engaging story. Though I could never get into Mass Effect, because it felt too much like a shooter.
I am excite !
Maybe GG will tackle the Borderlands style FPS/RPG that Destiny didn't do for me.
Maybe a Dishonored/bioshock FPS/RPG type game, that will be cool.
i am quite hopeful for this game considering their current track record fingers crossed
happy gaming
