Okay, I'm sure you have reasons for picking your horse for this year's E3, and here's your chance to explain.
Which of the "Big 3" will make the best showing at this year's trade event? Will it be Sony, with a bunch of top-tier exclusives; will it be Microsoft with their own exclusives; will it be Nintendo with…um…their new console?
Who knows what we'll see, but it's interesting to gauge ahead of time. One could argue that Microsoft has the edge right now, as Xbox One has a better exclusive lineup for the holiday season and they've just locked in that $350 price tag. And don't forget that Microsoft has been on the comeback trail over the past few months, perhaps largely due to that $50 price difference and the lack of reasons to grab a PS4 over Xbox One.
But Sony's first-party teams are always head-and-shoulders above everyone else, right? And what about Nintendo? Does anyone have any idea what to expect from them these days? What, more mobile news?
To my knowledge Nintendo has no plans to reveal whatever NX is. They have a plethora of games they will talk about though. Including some new unannounced titles. Maybe Metroid and a brand new Zelda for the New 3DS? I'd like to see Twilight Princess and/or Skyward Sword HD announced. I also hope to see some information about Nintendo's planned subscription based program. They are pretty good at that kind of stuff. I got a lot of cool items from their Nintendo Club rewards program. Hopefully we'll see a Zelda Wii U bundle announced along with a price drop. Time to get my hands on a Zelda console. Haven't bought a special edition console since that lame Pokemon N64. Lol. Though I'm glad I got it. i think I can get double what I paid for it on eBay.
Looking forward to whatever Sony has to offer as well. I hope we get some news on a new Last of Us or even God of War.

hasn't Nintendo had zero stage presence at E3 for, like, years?

I wish Nintendo would stop trying to be so different with their controls. I miss owning and enjoying a Nintendo system that wasn't a handheld.
Yea. I think the last two they have forgone a press conference.
I rather like that they're different because it gives me a different system to enjoy. I imagine if the Wii U were just another clone of the PS4 or Xbone I probably wouldn't own a PS4. Well, actually I probably would for the exclusives. XD
I think MS will own the show overall.
They'll have Halo 5 on display for certain.
They'll have Tomb Raider showing it's awesomeness.
They'll have the new Forza.
I expect Quantum Break to have another incredible gameplay demo.
I expect Platinum to make a splash with their game.
They probably will have a few surprises, maybe something Gears.
They'll find some way to flaunt DX12 and Windows 10.
Sony will have Uncharted 4 but they'll probably open with Star Wars Battlefront.
Tons of boring indie crap will eat up lots of time. Including also ANOTHER stage demo of No Man's Sky.
They'll have Capcom show SFV.
I expect the Ratchet remake game to be shown.
I expect a trailer for the next GoW.
I expect a Bloodborne expansion pack preview.
I expect GG to show whatever they've been doing for a long while.
I expect VR stuff and PS Now fluff. Lot's of patting themselves on the back.
David Cage will probably show something.
I expect a family friendly game. Maybe Knack 2.
I'm hoping for surprises like Resistance.
Nintendo probably won't be there but they'll do some webcast to show a new level in Zelda.
EDIT: oh, and someone will have Konami show MGSV.

btw if MS announced a Shenmue 3 exclusive I'll be getting an XO*
* if it isn't also for PC.
Hey I want Knack 2, I'm not even joking…
We all need to accept that Shenmue III is never going to happen. It's the only way the healing can begin.
I.. I can't.
Lan Di … my father.. dead.
Fukusan. Lucky hit.
Fully Reactive Eyes Entertainment will come back.
The Dreamcast 2 returns THIS year with Shenmue 3 as an exclusive launch title!
I think MS is bound to disappoint with all the hype they've been building for their conference.
Sony, on the other hand, has significantly downplayed expectations and could easily blow people socks off with a few big surprises on top of what everyone is aware will be shown.

Whoever show more great game definitely gonna win…
I expect to be underwhelmed across the board. Lots of talk about sales figures, expected price cuts, footage we already know to expect, and no big surprises.
Sony will win, at least in my heart. I expect the press to give MS the award.
I've read that Nintendo will not have a stage show this year either, like last two(?) years.
I think the show will be owned by one of the publishers, not the hardware companies.

I really couldn't care about which of the 'Big 3' has a great show, nor which of the big AAA publishers has the best show.
I'm only interested in what games we have coming out over the next few months / year, Mirrors Edge and Deus Ex especially.
I hope all parties involved have great showings because that's what's good for the industry. I do love this time of year.
As a side note, is there anything showing this year that we've not already heard about through leaks?
Why aren't you interested in suits walking around boasting of their greatness with the best exclusives games and services? Where only with them you'll find unmatched and unlimited entertainment.
I'm jealous?
MS has been hyping the sh*t out of their press conference this year, so I only really expect to be disappointed. They're allegedly going to reveal an exclusive new IP tho. That and Scalebound gameplay has me intrigued.
If Sony actually shows The Last Guardian they automatically win for me. I just hope they don't fill their conference with VR and third party stuff (Bungie showing off more Destiny expansions)
With all of the incredible Ratchet trailers being shown today I expect Insomniac will have something else to show on stage for E3.
They have an 'a' and a 'b' team. One handles early production the other handles late production.
I won't be surprised if we see something Resistence.
And I do mean those Ratchet trailers look incredible. The lighting system is totally next gen. That is what I've been waiting to see.
That train level (the city gameplay movie) is like Uncharted meets Ratchet. It looks so good

the new Hell Blade game play trailer looks pretty cool.
Reminds me of like Dark Souls meets Infinity Blade (iOS game)
Agent! This will be the year!
tbh i could go anyway someone could surprise beyond what we already suspect/know is coming but its kinda hard to say at this point tbh.
happy gaming
