Regardless of what you may think about the new Assassin's Creed , the fact remains: Pirates are, and will forever remain, undeniably cool .
This year's franchise iteration, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag , is scheduled to land this fall for multiple systems. It's a cross-generation title so you could either purchase it for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 (or one of the other consoles).
Ubisoft has released a new trailer, focusing specifically on the "golden age of pirates," which is the setting for this fresh adventure. Obviously, we're probably going to be seeing more in the way of naval gameplay. That's all right, though, because it worked out surprisingly well in ACIII. It'll also be interesting to see how the inherently amoral code of the pirates works into the protagonist's history and views. Also, how exactly do the Templars fit in…? Those guys were everywhere !
Can't wait to find out.

I thought today was the golden age of piracy? Make up your mind, Ubisoft.
Cameo by Captain Jack Sparrow? – Voiced by Johnny Depp of course 😀
Golden age of piracy? So theres going to be pirated pc games? I don't play PC games often, but when i google console commands or something, i see piratebay or something for "download -game name-" Still, its going to be weird not seeing any familiar faces. Didn't care about Shawn or the tom boy. And the dad was just an annoying throw in. If this is purely past story then it'll be amazing.
