Another day, another definitive edition.
Or rather, "deathinitive."
That's not a word but it becomes reality in the updated PlayStation 4 version of Darksiders II . It hasn't been officially announced yet but you can find evidence of the game's existence at Amazon .
The Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition is currently only listed for PS4 and it boasts a placeholder date of December 31, 2015. Don't forget that after THQ sunk, Nordic Games snapped up the rights to this series, so we expect news on this product from Nordic at some point. Chances are, the new version will include upgraded visuals and a host of other goodies, as per usual with definitive editions.
Darksiders II was one of the most wildly entertaining and well put-together games of the previous generation. If you missed it, make sure to put the Deathinitive Edition on your radar.

Wasn't this announced before? I still think it is stupid. I mean the game wasn't really in the public eye, so yes it gives the title a second chance… but why just the second title? The first game could easily be bundled with this game. No sale, on that principle for me. Especially if they do a Capcom and release the other part of the bundle later on…
well did anyone see this coming cos i certainly didn't this is kinda out of the blue to me
happy gaming
I did.
All of these remasters and everything are proff that the Ps3/360 lasted too long
Good point mate.
Thanks snaaaake. i kinda got thinking about that the other day. Like what if the Ps4 came out sooner and what if all of these remasters where the full games released on Ps4 instead of Ps3.
We shouldn't be upset about this one. Nordic Games is not yet capable of creating a AAA production. The money from a remaster will help them put together something decent for Darksiders 3.
Darksiders 2 was an awesome game, but it ended with a fart, like the rug got pulled out from under the development team (probably about the time owners of the company declared bankruptcy).
