If you've seen the movie, you might be plenty excited for the game.
And if not, perhaps this trailer will convince you that Mad Max should be part of your game collection come September.
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new trailer for the new Avalanche Studios ( Just Cause ) production and it focuses on gameplay and exploration. Max is searching for his iconic car and as the trailer is dubbed "Savage Road," you're right to expect a bunch of vehicular insanity. We even get some hand-to-hand combat. For more on the video, head on over to the PlayStation Blog .
The Wasteland awaits and once Max has his Magnum Opus, it could become his playground. Mad Max launches on September 1 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Wasteland and mad max,sounds great.
The only thing i need to know is If there is a good balance between the gameplay when driving and on foot, when it's to much driving then it's not for me,need to wait for more info on this
There's lots of driving in the films as well. So expect something similar :p.
I'm hoping they don't go too far the other way and make Max somekind of superhuman fighter. The movies have always been about the chase and vehicle stunts to me. That trailer looked awesome, but the gameplay one from earlier had him taking out large groups of people single handed. Something I don't see that character doing.
slow and smart, if you don't like driving and car chases I can't see how this game would be for you. If it holds even remotely close to the series in general, and Fury Road specifically, it's going to have a LOT of driving.
@Bio,i didnt say i don't like driving AT ALL,i want a good balance in gameplay,so i do'nt want it to be a driving game for say 80/90%.
On gamespot i did see an article and it stated:Warner's Wyse says the mix between on-foot melee and car combat in the final game will be about 50-50.That's not the same as in the movie Fury Road[great MOVIE btw],in the movie it was a lot more, but of course,in mad max [the movie] is a lot of car combat ,let's see what the balance will be in the game.

A few outlets have already played early versions of the game and the impressions so far are not terribly good.
Shame, since the newest movie is probably the best action film of the new century and deserved a game as good.
Except for the holy grails Fallout and Mass Effect, this game here is what I look most forward to hear and see more about at this years E3.
looks pritty rediculously awsome and idk if its just me but the driving reminds me a bit of jak 3 and or motorstorm
happy gaming
