Ben-DutkaBorderlands developer Gearbox Software is prepping a brand new IP called Battleborn .
It was announced last year and even though we haven't heard much about it since, we do know it's coming to E3. And it'll show up in a "big way," according to Take-Two president Karl Slatoff (via GameSpot ):
" Next month, Battleborn will be at E3 in a big way and we will have more news to share about the title prior to the show. "
Battleborn is a shooter for consoles and PC that features MOBA elements, and Slatoff further confirmed an "accelerated character growth system." This will let players "fully experience" each of the game's distinct heroes in either single-player or multiplayer action. This project remains the "most ambitious" in Gearbox's history, as they said last year, and it's tentatively scheduled for Q1 2016.
In the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, this could be a refreshing action game with a lot of top-tier multiplayer goodness. Borderlands has always been great; now it's time for the team to tackle a new IP, and we all hope it turns out a winner.

who's MOBA?
Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. For the best example, look up Dota 2. It constantly tops the Steam charts for most played game on that platform. There are currently 817,824 people playing it right now.
It looks different and fun but if online is the focus with a tiny weak single player campaign then I'm out.
All I've seen is co-op and campaign gameplay. It seem more so that's the focus, however as with Borderlands playing with others is more beneficial.

Been following this game for awhile. I've been wanting another co-op adventure from them to get me away from Borderlands. This is probably it. It looks fun!
Ooooooh yes this is that game they announced ages ago with MOBA roots/elements – and everyone had written it off on the spot haha.
yeah i'm sure it'll come of well they are a pritty decent dev lets see what they got with this new one
