It's time once again to vote for the athlete that deserves his spot in immortality: The envious label of a Madden cover athlete.
Publisher Electronic Arts has announced the four finalists for this year's voting:
If you like, you can vote via the free-to-play Madden NFL Mobile or the Madden Ultimate Team in last year's Madden NFL 15 . Those playing the F2P mobile game can unlock extra votes by competing in-game challenges, and Ultimate Team players can earn up to four extra votes by completing Solo Challenges.
The first round of voting closes on Monday, May 11, and the two finalists will be revealed the following day. After that, on May 13, the final round begins and anyone can visit ESPN.com and toss their hat into the ring. The winner will be announced during a 6 p.m. EDT edition of SportsCenter on May 13.
Madden NFL 16 is scheduled to launch on August 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
