And you'd rather not spend a stupid amount of money on a new PlayStation 4 with that Silent Hills sample installed . Well, no worries.
The demo is officially gone from the PlayStation Store but if you downloaded it, you can get it back. Chris Pereira confirmed this at GameSpot ; he deleted the demo and the system will let him grab it again, as you can see by the screenshot. And yes, you can find the "P.T." playable sample in your Library and re-download. I've still got it on my machine, I believe, and I don't really have any inclination to play it again. It does suck that the game in question was canceled but really, we're talking about a demo here.
If you missed out, there's not much you can do. You can watch all of it on YouTube if you really want, though.

I intend to keep mine, just as a piece of tragic gaming history.
The feeling I got when this was canceled must be how Star Wars fans feel about the Prequel trilogy.
I, too, will keep it as a piece of gaming history.
Then I'll go write a new Silent Hill game and try to sell it to Konami or whoever gets the rights when they dissolve. Somebody has to act!
