New Minecraft Skins Include The Simpsons

They're the most popular cartoon family in history and now they're coming to one of the most popular video games in history.

As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , Minecraft fans are getting a bunch of new Skins this week.

The first is Alex, the game's first female skin. She's a little thinner than Steve but "plays exactly the same way as he does." As of right now, players can sample 8 Steve and 8 Alex skins, so that's a fair amount of variety. The second Skin pack involves The Simpsons characters: The whole family as well as Principal Skinner, Groundskeeper Willie and of course, Dewey Largo (the music teacher, if you'd forgotten).

By the way, the update in question is completely free to all PlayStation users.
