When developer Evolution Studios said they'd support the hell out of Driveclub , they weren't kidding around.
Another big update should be available right about now, and it features a host of gameplay improvements, new content, and add-ons. You can see the full list here .
Leading the charge is a new – and FREE – Tour, Multiplayer Replays, and the enviable Ferrari LaFerrari. The Startline Tour features 11 events and 45 objectives and offers newcomers a "well-balanced introduction" to the game. There's also several new Single Event options, including the ability to set Time of Day and the number of laps (anywhere from 1 to 25). There's even a new Controller Setting option that allows adjustment of the steering lock rotation angle on all supported wheels.
Click through the link above to review all the add-ons, too.

Awesome. I just won the photo finish tour last night.
It's great how this game keeps growing.
Sony really needs to repackage this one as a ultimate edition with all the dlc.
They could name it like Drive Club: Last Race so reviewers feel inclined they're playing a new enough game to re-review it. This way it gets the higher marks it deserves.

Too bad they missed out on me getting the game. I planned on doing the upgrade from the free PS+ Edition after trying it to see if I liked it but now I have simply lost all interest and have my sights on Project Cars.
I completely agree, Shaun. I was amped to be able to try this out on PS+ before I bought it, but I've completely lost interest now.
i understand yours and others comments about the ps+ thing. i used to rent every game before buying it, cuse you never really know. i equate the plus edition being pretty much that. you wanna try to make sure it is worth the money, but how many games really let you do that these days. it would have been nice(since they said they would) but in the end it was a perk, that i believe is still coming, better late than never right?
all i know is i went out on a limb and picked it up day one. and have enjoyed every minute of it. best arcade racer (for me) since dirt 3. when project cars comes out i think it will be a perfect contrast to have in my gaming catalog. one game where you get to rip around like clarkson in a super car, and one where you need to focus and concentrate on driving the best line…..
Except it pretty much is too late now Project Cars is a full sim to rival Gran Turismo and will be releasing this next month.
Racers are like shooters to me I can really only dedicate myself to one I also know many people who are the same way.
If they can get the PS+ version out before Project Cars release they might have one more shot at getting me but I doubt it.
I think project cars lighting model looks significantly more synthetic and fake than the highly convincing Drive Club implementation.
I was the same as most of you here. Annoyed by driveclubs delay upon delay. But once Project Cars got delayed, I went out and bought it. My PS4 had been a racing game free zone for far too long.
To be honest, the game is pretty good fun. the range of cars and tracks is decent. At the end of the day, it most definitely is an arcade racer. Feel free to plough through walls with no damage to the car/impact to the handling. Nice at times, but with all the detail they put into the cars, it would have been nice to have them get mashed some bit when you mess up.
One thing that annoys me with it though it the view when turning sometimes, the driver throws out three fingers from the steering wheel.
I know it sounds small, but it's tough enough to see at the best of times!
Overall, I suggest trying it at the very least, as it will be very very different to Project CARS (I'm hoping!)
Also, if anyone here is interesting in playing a bit of Driveclub, feel free to add me.

Seeing that this has turned into a Project Cars discussion I'm just gonna say I can easily pass on any pretenders to the Gran Turismo throne. I'll wait for GT7. I only need one GT sim.

temjin are you playing gt6? i cant remember if you still have a ps3
I have a PS3. I don't still play GT6 but I played it a lot when I did. Got my money and time worth that's for sure.
This update is big alright. 9GB!!
Hope people are enjoying current gen racers. I'm still in last gen cause my G27 won't work on ps4 and I don't have enough money to buy the Thrustmaster that supports the H shifter and clutch.
