Hey, want to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a little early?
The highly anticipated RPG is currently available for pre-order in both physical and digital format. If you opt for the latter, you can actually dive into the fun the day before the official release date (May 19).
Developer CD Projekt Red confirmed to GameSpot that all digital copies of The Witcher 3 will unlock at 1 a.m. CET on May 19. This translates to 4 p.m. on May 18 in the US, which is pretty darn cool, actually. On top of which, if you pre-order the digital version, you'll get 10 percent off the standard $60 retail price. The discount applies to all versions – PS4, Xbox One, and PC – although we're not sure if the PC version will be playable early.
Oh, and the file size appears to come in at about 30GB, which isn't bad at all. For such a huge game, you'd expect it to be closer to 45 or 50, like Grand Theft Auto V . You've got 30GB of free space, right? If not, make room.

I believe the digital version also has an automatic 10% discount applied, effectively making it $54. And for whatever reason pre-orders don't get charged tax, I don't know. But that's another perk.
For me digital has the added perk of the game being playable during the day before.
That is, living in a PST zone the game becomes playable for me at 9:00 PM. Which is nearly perfect for my gaming habits.
Anyway, I don't plan on playing this monster of a game. But I do have a way of playing everything I say I wont!
see Order, Bloodborne, and Inquisition.

finish inquisition?
Nope. Gave it like 15-20 hours though. And it was a rental.
The PC version has already been on sale for as low as $30 on some sites.
I don't mean to brag but I know the owner of a video game store and I could probably get the disc version on Saturday, May 17.
clever
is this an incetive to buy the digital version???
i'd say so, but i'd still buy the disc version
happy gaming
