We all know The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to be downright massive.
But never before have we gotten a better look at the game's size, scope and immersion. The new gameplay trailer, coming in at nearly five minutes, shows off just about every important aspect of CD Projekt Red's hugely ambitious title.
We see combat, NPC interaction, story elements, various activities (including horse racing and "following your heart"), and plenty of gorgeous scenery. You really get a sense of the sheer size of this virtual world, and just how dynamic the experience will be. There will always be something to do and how you do it will depend on your choices.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to launch on May 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As I've said before: Better have a lot of spare time.

I know we gamers have a tendency to go overboard with hype nearly every year, but any year with 'Wild Hunt', 'Arkham Knight' and 'The Phantom Pain' just HAS to be a highlight among gaming. My opinion, anyway.
Not gonna spoil this with video, but it's too early to get excited now anyway. The game is still a long ways off and the terrible ending of Inquisition has me going toward other developers for Fantasy gaming for now.
This doesn't look as interesting as I once thought it did. Have to wait until it releases, but this is a little too fantasy for me lol
Just play the first two Witchers.
I'd hate to review this game. It looks gorgeous. And like any GTA game it seems that the gameplay is endless. However, at least with GTA, the more I play these games the more I find that you CANT do. The things to do starts so overwhelming but, especially in a 200 hour game, you chip away at that and then it gets a little disappointing that you cant do this or go in there. How would you even score that, since most people wouldnt go that far to try to "live" in the gameworld.
That's what made Skyrim awesome. It was big, but not so big that you couldnt go "here" because it was just a filler cave or house. Or that you couldnt do "this", because the developers didnt intend you to even try it.
If you manage to pull out 200h from a game, it doesn't matter what you CAN'T do…
A song by Lonely Island- "Jizzed In My Pants" comes to mind after watching this video.
Yea this isn't for me
Damn, it's a fantasy GTA5!:) And 19th May is my birthday. Not sure if I will get it tho…
i'm waiting for this,about 5 weeks…..
This is going to be one heck of a game. I don't mind that it is open world although I prefer the open world style of Bloodborne in that it is all connected by more about density than openness.
But still this game looks absolutely incredible, I can't wait.
The Witcher 3 continues to look better and better, and you can instantly see that it won't be the giant world of emptiness that is Dragon Age Inquisition. While I'm not 100% sold, I have to admit this could be the open world fantasy game we've been waiting for.
Aside from it's size and beauty, it really seems quite standard to me. Hope it does a lot to surprise me.
