Two of Electronic Arts' biggest games in the pipeline should be here before April 2016.
That's according to a new report produced by research firm Wedbush Morgan (as cited by VideoGamer ).
Analyst Michael Pachter and his team say "EA's strong presence on the next-gen consoles positions the company to thrive in coming years" and make mention of several very big titles in the works:
"FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror's Edge 2, a new Need For Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15."
In referring to fiscal year 2016, he means games that are expected to launch between now and April 2016. We know Star Wars: Battlefront and the new Need for Speed are slated to arrive later this year, so can we expect Mirror's Edge 2 and Mass Effect 4 early next year…?
I'm still a little leery about what they might do to Mirror's Edge but that was one of my favorite games of the previous generation, so I'll hold out hope.
omg omg omg… ME4…
Might we see both Fallout 4 and Mass Effect 4 in 2016? If so, I hereby already declare 2016 as EPIC.
I second that!
I second that!
Just have Faith Ben, it'll turn out fine.
Mass Effect 4 eh? I feel like Battlefront was shoved out the door because it'll sell well. If they give Mass Effect 4 the same treatment, it would definitely negatively impact the game. But I trust in Bioware to deliver.
Unless they pull a Dragon Age 2.
Won't happen, Shaune.
Ben I am right there with you on Mirror Edge. I hope they do not mess it up or I will be one sad panda.
Imagine if Mirror's Edge works with Morpheus that would be crazy!
i figured they were coming at some point in the next 2 years so yeah theres the time frame 2016
happy gaming
Mirror's Edge 2!!! This should be a good E3 coming up.
