Just about ready to get your spine stomped?
Developer NetherRealm Studios has released the launch trailer for Mortal Kombat X , which is set to release on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (the PS3 and 360 versions have been delayed until summer).
The team went all out with this crazy vid, as they brought on System of a Down's Shavo Odadjian to direct the trailer. Unsurprisingly, it features the band's popular "Chop Suey" song, which really fits the style of this brutal game. The trailer puts the spotlight on both new and returning characters and climaxes with one of the most absurd Fatalities we've seen.
You may also see a live-action TV trailer for the game, and that too boasts "Chop Suey." That's what happens to the losing combatants in this game, if you hadn't noticed.

Nostalgic
Strange song choice for a trailer, doesn't suit it at all.
Good grief. It's a terrible fit. They also ruined the trailer for the game's initial cg reveal. It was some rap song or something.
I liked the rap better than this anyways… Besides, this trailer was poorly worked with. Chop Suey can work with Mortal Kombat, just whomever did this trailer should be fired…
Love System of a Down but watched this yesterday and it doesn't really fit at all. =
