Well, we're pretty sure the basic control won't change too much. Activision wouldn't allow it.
And yet, one industry insider believes we can expect a change in regards to movement in the uber-popular Call of Duty franchise.
As spotted by Paradiger , that source goes by the name of shinobi602 on Twitter, and he says the next CoD will boast movement that's "a little different than Advanced Warfare ." He adds that it "won't be like older games" so everyone is left wondering: What will it be like? Perhaps the developers will add more weight, ala Killzone …? Or maybe he only means the Exo Suits will be gone. Who knows?
But again, you can't change the formula too much, lest you lose your target audience. We can almost guarantee the change won't be too drastic.
Meanwhile, in Destiny:
Space wizards have been "blinking" and "gliding" across alien terrain since last year…
I'd guess less weight.
Advanced Warfare was a nice surprise in terms of mobility. Maybe vehicles?
took me awhile to get used to exo suits in aw, but i seem to like it now, it reminds me of a watered down version of destinys gravity control (though i feel like cod may have copied them kind of?)
All the rumors I keep hearing point to a WaW2. Though it might be a sci fi alternate reality WWII setting. I'm pretty sure there wont be any kind of exo suits, so if the movement is different but not like the old ones it's got me guessing.
I hope they move away for ever.
Hmmm, campaign set in outer space Treyarch? I wouldn't mind.
i guess theres some other changes coming and they are anyones guess as to what they are
happy gaming
They will change the move??, I guess you will look left when pushing the joystick right and vice versa… Oh controls can't change that much?, Ok forget about my idea.
