SXSW Awards: Dragon Age, Shadow Of Mordor Win Big

Chalk another one up for Dragon Age: Inquisition .

BioWare's critically acclaimed RPG has won another Game of the Year Award, this one at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas.

In all, 21 awards were handed out, and the very well-received Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor ended up with three of them: Excellence in Gameplay, Excellence in Animation, and Excellence in Design and Direction. The beautiful Child of Light won Excellence in Art, Destiny took the Excellence in Technical Achievement category, and Far Cry 4 won the Excellence in Visual Achievement award.

Other notable awards included Excellence in Musical Score ( Transistor ), Excellence in Multiplayer ( Super Smash Bros. Wii U ), Most Valuable Character (Ellie, The Last Of Us: Left Behind ), and Most Valuable Add-On Content, which also went to Left Behind .
