Well, it's just another reason to jump into the new generation if you haven't already.
As originally reported by VideoGamer , the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Mortal Kombat X have been delayed until summer. The PS4 and Xbox One iterations remain on track for April 14.
Remember that while NetherRealm Studios is handling the newer installments, High Voltage is doing the last-gen versions. Said publisher Warner Bros. Interactive in a statement today:
"Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer."
No reason for the delay was given. Obviously, most would recommend that you play this game for the newer consoles. But not everyone has a PS4 or Xbox One just yet, so plenty of people are going to be a little disappointed.

I wasn't even aware of a PS3 version, I thought it was just current gen only.
Not to be a jerk but I'm happy to hear this.
I really wish developers would just finally ditch last gen. Cross-gen games are holding developers back from using out the potential of current-gen. Plus, it would help people start jumping onto current-gen instead of parroting out, "Why should I upgrade when they're still making games on last-gen?"
Sony said PS3 has a 10 year life cycle. So devs catering in to the current and *last gen* equaling more profit, it widens the gap more.

That's a fallacy …
Most of the time when multi gen titles are developed, its by separate teams assigned for each generation of console.
well i guess the ps3/360 gamers are getting left behind a bit now with stuff like this
happy gaming
