Yes, it's usually more fun to play than just observe, but this is still pretty nifty.
2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios have announced a new upcoming mode for the well-received multiplayer-oriented shooter, Evolve .
As revealed at the game's official website , Observer Mode is coming soon to all platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC). This is a community feature that lets a sixth user watch a custom match, with tools that allow this individual to switch between the four Hunters and the lone Monster. The viewer sees a unique HUD that updates in real time; it gives us all the health, perks and survival odds info.
Read more about it through the link above. "Shoutcasting" is one of those next-gen terms that everyone will probably know in the near future; you can livestream various matches, put 'em up on Twitch, and add your own commentary as the Observer. It's probably useful training if you're interested in a career as a host or announcer or something.

I'm not keen on this addition… seems like it will unbalance a lot of the games structure, which is very tight and well made.
how will it unbalance? theyre just observing, it shouldnt affect actual game play.
the only downfall i see is if a hunters friend observes the monster to give em a heads up, which in that case…sucks.
what is a color-man? i have never heard of this before?
doesnt seem too exciting. this is just following another trend of people watching other people play games. thats just boring
they need to try and speed up load times somehow, it can be unbearable sometimes. also, they need to remove caira's speech lol, she is the most annoying ever
thats an interesting developement in gameplay types, certainly curious as to how it works and what it looks like in action.
happy gaming
