Okay, if you still own the PS3, you could pick up Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for only $14.99 .
But if you've got the PlayStation 4 as well, this might be a better option.
Square Enix has announced via Twitter that the well-received compilation will launch for PlayStation 4 in the US on May 12. If you pre-order, you'll receive a free desktop calendar featuring Yoshitaka Amano's stunning artwork. As franchise followers are well aware, Amano has provided artwork and logo designs for previous Final Fantasy titles, and was a character designer for the first six installments.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster packages two great games together and offers well over 100 hours of gameplay; maybe closer to 150 if you want to do everything in each adventure. Pretty impressive bang for your buck, huh?

I cant see the PS4 version being an improvement. The PS3 version looked stunning. I'm content with that.
The PS4 version has a handful of enhancements, including also touched up graphics.

This answered some big questions of mine. It's the one I'll eventually get.

This would be a nice game to have digitally BUT with The Witcher 3 coming out around that time I don't see myself dedicating any time to it.
AAAH NO, you can't have any more of my money for these great old games SE!!!!!
Damn, I'll probably end up getting it anyway. BUT it'll be after a price drop or 6!
too bad it doesn't come with a playable demo of FFVII HD
😀
