New Amplitude Footage Shows Off Team Multiplayer Mode

Oh man, can't wait for this!

Even though developer Harmonix was forced to delay the updated – or as they say in this trailer, "recharged" – version for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, we're still excited.

Now set for this summer, the newly updated music game is prettier, smoother, and deeper. For a sneak peek, here's a one-minute piece of footage; it's super slick and we also get a look at the fresh multiplayer mode. As art director Ryan Lesser said over on the PlayStation Blog , the new team multiplayer option will let novices and experts alike play together.

So now, we'll get the option of either 2v2 or 3v1 matches, which is just way cool. The game will be on display at the upcoming PAX East event, too, so more footage should land online soon.
