Developer Frozenbyte has announced Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power ; the first trailer is below.
The third entry will retain the core gampelay of the franchise: It's an action/platformer with a big puzzle twist, where three intrepid explorers, each with unique skills, work their way through a beautiful yet challenging environment. Trine 3 will see the return of the Knight, Wizard and Thief and chances are, it will once again support three different players.
Perhaps the biggest difference here is the graphics. While the first two iterations boasted wondrous 3D visuals on a 2D side-scrolling plane, the third appears to be fully 3D. Or at least, there will be full 3D segments, as seen in the trailer.
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power will release some time this year. If you want to play catch-up, you should definitely check out Trine 2 .

Trine 1 and 2 are some of my favourite co op games. Looking forward to this.
I am slightly disappointed that the made the thief look almost exactly like an Assassin from the AC universe but that wont stop me from buying the game.

looks pritty good, i haven't played either of the 1st 2 games but i am seriously thinking about playing this one looks pritty awsome
